The Job:
- The job requires installing,
configuring, and troubleshooting PCs, Laptops, Servers, and Workstations in a
network, hardware (Printers/Scanners/Monitors) and software (Windows 2000/XP,
MS-Office 2000/2003, other PC based s/w) problems.
- Basic Networking and knowledge
with exposure to structured cabling, including crimping of CAT5e/CAT6 cables
- Ability to Install and
troubleshoot using remote installation and diagnostic tools.
- Solving IT centric issues and
ensuring smooth running of all IT Systems. Also to ensure installation and
configuration of systems as per policies and standards set by the Company.
- They must keep abreast of
latest developments in hardware and software technologies in fixing issues on
site.
- Flexible in work timings to
work in shifts, Weekends or evening schedules and on call.
The Person:
Education: Degree, Diploma in HW Maintenance.
Age: 23-27 Yrs.
Experience: 3-5 Yrs.
Desired Skill Set:
- Hands-on experience in
installing configuring and troubleshooting Hardware viz. servers, PCs,
Printers, Routers, Switches etc.
- Hands-on experience in
configuring, installing and troubleshooting system software viz. Windows
Operating system 2003 servers in Active Directory environment, configuring
desktop protection using group policies, Anti-virus, Domino Notes client,
AS/400 Client, ISA Client etc.
- Hands-on experience to fix
problems on PCs, address security and performance issues, internet
connectivity and system crashes and ensure that employees can function in a
trouble free manner
- Hands on experience using
remote installation services, In addition interpersonal skill to diagnose and
solve computer issues using remote desktop control service.
