The Job:

The job requires managing the IBM iSeries (AS/400) systems and associated infrastructure. He will be required to work in a multi-platform hardware and system software environments and providing support in managing enterprise level four IBM iSeries (AS/400) Systems. Operating System OS/400 upgrade, hardware and system software upgrade, PTF installation, data security, performance tuning, DB2/400 database tuning, back-up & recovery, data mirroring will be integral part of the job.

Education: B.Tech/ M.Tech/ MCA/ M.Sc./B.Sc.
Age: 28-35 Yrs.
Experience: About 8-12 Yrs.

Desired Skill Set:

• The person must have hands-on experience in IBM iSeries System Administration.
• Experience in configuring, installing and trouble shooting in the below mentioned areas will be highly desirable:
• IBM DS8100 and DS 6800 SAN storage platforms
• Data replication, high availability and DR solutions
• ASP/iASP Management & configuration
• System partitioning & virtualization using LPAR
• Performance monitoring and capacity planning
