Job Description

The job requires monitoring and tracking of all IT projects (HW & SW) including procurement, installation, vendor coordination, monitoring alerts, information analysis, preparation of management reports will be an integral part of the job. Major responsibility includes managing the IT infrastructure, hardware, system software, data communication and networking resources Lead an IT infrastructure team. Guide the team in designing, supporting and implementing technology projects/solutions like wide area network, system administration, performance tuning, data security, new technology & product evaluations etc.

Manage RF, MPLS, VPN, EDI, ADSL, Internet and many other sophisticated technologies.

The person would be leading a team involved in managing a multi-platform hardware and system software environments; providing support in managing enterprise level network consisting of four IBM iSeries (AS/400) systems, a large number of Windows/Intel Blade Servers (Lotus Notes/Domino, Web, Application, Database, Security etc. servers) and 3-Tier Back-bone network using CISCO high-end switches and routers, IDS and Firewalls.
